Design: aggressiveness in his face – manufactured ranking
The new Jaguar XF want to make the Audi A5, the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-class life difficult and threw himself to even more aggressive in bowl. The flowing coupe-like profile, the long, contoured bonnet with a strong molded power dome and the short front overhang give character.
The grille is now vertical in the wind than before, which helps the XF to a more powerful stature and in addition reduces drag. The aerodynamic efficiency increase beyond special openings in the front bumper, which direct air over the front wheels and thus prevent turbulence disrupt the smooth flow circulating around the car. The raw cut headlights emphasize the aggressiveness. For the first time Jaguar also mounted adaptive all-LED units.
The sweeping, coupe-like profile of the first XF-generation complemented the British during the follow-up model to a third side window.
