Highest performance, a hot look and extreme lightweight: the new Magna Steyr Mila Plus is a keen sports car that is full of ingenious solutions that way. The result is a faster, more environmentally friendly plug-in hybrid sports car with an extremely low fuel consumption. Magna is known as an automotive supplier and would like to be comprehensive range show with this sports car concept from development to production of cars, but to draw attention in particular to its innovative solutions.
Design Magna Mila Plus: Dynamic Greeting with aggression
Even the emotional lines of the Magna Mila Plus impresses with its interplay of flowing contours and edges. These plastic attachments convince Meanwhile, in addition to their low weight due to their corrosion behavior, their resistance and greater design freedom. Thus, the deep-reaching front with the side air intakes and the narrow headlamps acting aggressive, while the contoured bonnet and the molded wheel arches also contribute to the dynamic look.
A distinctive front splitter, side skirts and a distinctive diffuser support the aerodynamics. The flat, black roof pulpit runs tapering at the rear of which represents an equally dynamic announcements. Other accents the shark fin on the side. Who wants to take Luggage: There are 360 liters available – front and rear 145 liters 215 liters, which should be sufficient for a golf bag.
Two cameras replace beyond the exterior mirrors and not only improve the aerodynamics, but also increase the traditional perspective to the blind spot. The live images will be displayed in high resolution on two screens, and optimize visibility.

Completely recyclable – Bonding as the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
The construction of the 4,403-meter-long, 1,925 meters wide and 1,250 meters high Magna Mila Plus with a wheelbase of 2,575 meters is based on an aluminum space frame made from extruded profiles, in comparison to steel construction, a lighter weight, increased flexibility and the possibility of using offers different drive options than advantages. In the space frame Magna integrated the high-voltage battery of plug-in hybrid drive, thanks to which an increased stiffness can be achieved.
When connecting technology Magna is under construction on cold mechanical joining, a hybrid method combined with bonding. This proven joining method is compared to traditional welded cost-effective solutions and arrived at Magna already at various vehicle projects, such as the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and the Aston Martin Rapide, successfully applied.
The fully recyclable aluminum bodyshell contributes significantly to sustainability. Inside Magna sat on renewable raw materials, which are represented by trim components of bio-plastics and natural fibers.
Strong Sprint values for the pure fun
The plug-in hybrid system of the Magna Mila Plus consists of a three-cylinder petrol engine and two electric motors – one between the engine and transmission for driving the rear axle and an electric in the front axle. By this arrangement, an electric all-wheel drive is mapped, transmits more torque to the road and convinces through improved maneuverability and driving dynamics.
The performance of the hybrid drive is Magna with 200 kW / 272 hp and 580 Nm maximum torque.
Thus equipped, spurts of 1520 kg lightweight sports car in just 4.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km / h. Purely electrically accelerated the Magna Mila Plus from 0 to 80 km / h in 3.6 seconds.
